Thankful God Never Changes

Typical March in Nebraska, we had a record setting day Monday with 81 degrees and this morning I woke up to see some snow on the cars. Yes, we had a snow overnight, most of it melted away, only two days after a record high. March is always like that where I live.

Spring break week for my classes, so I am enjoying some lazy days with no plans but to relax and of course spend time wth Jesus.

Time with Jesus is so important these days. March weather may feel like a rollercoaster ride, but the news in the world so much more. It really feels like we are entering the end times.

It all makes me so grateful that Jesus is constant as Hebrews 13:8 says

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

And God our Father who does not change as James 1:17 says

 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows

So whatever is happening around us, we can go to God, who never changes, in prayer.

    Jesus wants us to spend more time with Him.
    In the season, I have shut my television down completely, so that I can soak up as much of His Word as I can – that’s how He communicates w/me. 🙏🏾

    Hey Brother, are you safe after the storm? We had a tornado watch yesterday, and a tornado actually touched down in Kankakee not too far from here and caused a lot of damage. We even had hail as big as 6 inches, pretty wild. The weather was rough across the state, but thank God we were safe. We did lose power for a little while in the middle of the night though.

    Crazy weather for real…. One day it feels like summer, the next day it’s snowing 😅 But you’re right, Jesus stays the same no matter what.

    Such a comfort to know God never changes. We never have to worry what mood he might be in, as we come into his throne room! He is ALWAYS gracious, compassionate, loving, wise, and more. Hallelujah!
