An interesting insight for Ephesians 2:10 was shared by my pastor yesterday. Ephesians 2:10 says-“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” My pastor shared about the Greek word that is translated handiwork or craftsmanship in most English translations.
The Greek word is ποίημα- poema. So it is like God is writing a poem, a story, with our lives.
Think about the story God is writing in your life. Have you ever thought of yourself as a living poem?
When thinking back on my life, it amazes me how God has worked to bring me from an angry teen/young man due to family problems, a young man who wasted life on partying. to become a teacher, missionary, and have the blessing of sharing Jesus with people from all over the world. God gets all the credit.
So a thought to start your week with. You are God’s poem.
