She is my new student in my morning class for newcomers to America. She is a young widow with four children, never went to school in her home country so she did not learn to read and write in her native language.
So realizing all of that, yesterday I used google translate to communicate with her that in her country she did not have the opportunity to go to school but here she has the opportunity to come to class and that she can learn English step by step. I used the speaker icon to play the message for her. She smiled.
She only knows a few words of English, so sharing Jesus with her is not possible for me, but I can show her Jesus by how I teach her and pray for God to bring people into her life who can share with her in her language.
She is an example of why I start my day by thanking God for blessing me with opportunities and asking for strength.
