It is Independence Day here in the USA. I would like to wish a Happy Independence Day to all of my readers.

Each year on Independence Day, I am mindful that my freedom, our freedom, is precious and did not come freely. Our freedom is because of the sacrifice of countless souls who fought for our freedom in the Revolutionary War, World War 2 etc.

Just as freedom from sin and judgement did not come freely. It is because of the sacrifice of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins.
