My weeks recently have consisted of teaching, ministry, and getting wrapped up. Wrapped up? My legs. I started treatment for edema in my legs a few weeks ago. After each session, they wrap them up to my knees. Good news is that it is working. So even though I look like a partial mummy, progress is happening.

The three words It Is Finished are the most hopeful words ever spoken for us. When Jesus cried out, “It is finished,” right before he died on the cross, the work to make forgiveness of sins possible was complete. The Greek word used for finished has the meaning of debt canceled. Jesus paid the penalty for all of our sins when he died on the cross.
Then his body was wrapped in clothes and his body placed in a tomb but he was resurrected and the tomb left empty and the cloths that wrapped him empty. Jesus paid our debt and lives forever more.
So while I will have more weeks of getting wrapped for therapy, I am so grateful that Jesus can say it’s a wrap as in finished. I am so grateful for God’s forgiveness.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
