It’s Election Day here in the USA. People will cast their votes on who they want for various offices. Whenever we have an election, I also think about the most important election only it does not decide who will be in office.
One day Jesus will return to earth to rule and reign. His kingdom will be fully displayed reigning from Jerusalem. It is then that the fact that he is lord over all will be fully realized by all humanity.
We will not vote on Jesus being the reigning king over all the earth, but we do have an election in a sense.
We can choose to trust in Jesus, to follow him, to receive him as our Savior but we must do so before he returns to earth. If we choose to believe in him, we will enjoy eternity with him.
The choice is ours now.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
