Yesterday morning was one of those moments that one can simply just feel the presence of Jesus. It was like a ray of light touching my soul.

I have felt his presence many times since dedicating my life to Jesus, but the past few months have been a grind on me. It had been a while since I had felt his presence. Perhaps one day I will share more about it, but for now I will simply say it was a deep valley or kind of like going through a tunnel.

I wasn’t doing anything special yesterday morning. I started my day the usual way with prayer and listening to worship music. I went with my friend Kelly to pick up some vegetables from my church. Some women at church have a huge garden there to grow veggies to give away. They always ask me if some refugees can use some. Kelly and I went to pick some up. We chatted a little with a few of the pastors and then loaded the veggies in her car. Kelly dropped me off at home and I came inside to relax a bit and then it happened.

I was sitting in my office at home and just felt that joy of his presence come upon me. It was like having a drink of cool water on a hot day. It refreshed me. I spent some time in prayer and lifted up my concerns, prayed for him to help me show his love, and prayed for concerns of others.

Such moments give us that extra something to help us continue on. They are his way of letting us know that he is with us. Did it solve everything? No. BUT he reminded me he is with me in the valley and with that reassurance my spirit is refueled. It reminds me of that old song Because He Lives I Can Face Tomorrow. I want to share a video of the song being sung. Thank you for reading. God Bless.
