January 6th in some countries is Epiphany Day to remember when the three wise men visited the baby Jesus and gave him gifts. For my followers celebrating this day, I would like to wish them a joyous holiday.
However, January 6th has a different meaning for me. January 6th is my father’s birthday. He is in heaven now having passed away almost 11 years ago.
The reason I say my father is in heaven is because of the forgiveness found in Jesus because of his love, grace, and death for us on the cross. My father had many struggles in his life with alcohol and other issues, but he came to trust in Jesus a little over a year before he died.

So I know I will see him again in heaven and can say Happy Birthday in heaven to him. 🙂
