My break time is over and it is Back to School time again for second semester. It was nice while it lasted, my 17 days of break time, sleeping late, relaxing, etc. But this morning I am looking forward to seeing the moms in my morning class again.
The break wasn’t only relaxation time. I got started writing a book, spent time with friends, and enjoyed blogging.

But there is something special about the energy of a classroom for me. I feel alive when I am with my students. I can be exhausted, fatigued, but once I start teaching, I am good to go until class ends.
There is much to pray about for these precious moms. Two will be driving back from spending Christmas in Mexico this week. Three will have babies in the coming weeks. There are also the needs and issues they deal with in their daily lives that remind me of what Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 11:
“Who is weak, and I do not feel weak?”
Update on the book- I am at 11,000 words. More are in me but waiting to be put on paper. I think by the end of the weekend I will be at 20,000 words. More important than word count is character development and I am adding some new characters to Jessica’s story from the short story.
My desire is to have a percentage from any book sales go to Love Justice an organization that intercepts and rescues children and young women from traffickers.
Also today two of my citizenship class students are taking their citizenship test. I am confident they will do well. 🙂
Hope you have a blessed day.
What was significant for you during the holidays?
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
