Thanks to Vanessa of braveblessedandbeautiful.com for showing us how to use Quote Creator during a blogger chat several Saturdays ago, I have been toying with it for posting on Instagram.

Here is my post from yesterday:

It is fun for me to learn how to use new to me apps and to learn in general, I hope to keep learning until Jesus calls me home to heaven where I will continue to learn.

Speaking of learning, I signed up for Rosetta Stone to practice my Spanish. It is fun for me to practice a beautiful language like Spanish. Even though I am at a higher level, I started with the beginning lessons.

Another new hobby for me is learning how to use various features of Google Suite for teachers such as Google Classroom.

These are just a few of the things that I have had time to learn during the shutdown.

What are some new things you have used or learned during the shutdown in your area?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

By the way- What are some songs that have blessed you recently?

  1. That is awesome!
Using the Bible app all started for me because of the shutdown, which is pretty cool.
Having summer homework is also something different. 😉
Just having a free schedule is something else that was unheard of in my life, but now it’s normal!

      1. It gets better each week.

  2. Well for me, I’m still a student in the university. I study french language and German. But during this lock down, I’m expanding my horizon with Portuguese and graphic design.
I’m also learning on how to be independent in some ways.
A whole lot of songs have helped me e.g different by Micah Tyler and Phil Wickham “Wait”

  3. Always win by Sinach. Waymaker by Michael W. Smith ft Vanessa. I’ve been learning how to use canva, read books, study my Bible and pray with understanding.

  4. What a great new hobby! Not sure if you use canva but that’s a great app to create quotes and pretty much any type of image as well.

    Kudos big bro.
Smiles. I started the use of Canvas during the lockdown. Some animations too which I haven’t practiced in a while and learned to weave my hair too by myself etc.

    1. I have never weaved my hair 🙂

      1. Smiles. Did it ever cross your mind to?

  7. It is great that you are spending your time to do so much things. I signed up with Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish. I had a lot of fun with the first trial lesson but unfortunately I have not done any more lesson. All the best with your lesson.

    1. Thank you 🙂 🙂 🙂

  8. Matt, you have been keeping yourself busy. Good for you! I have been experimenting with a new poetry style, Tanka, which is similar to a Haiku. I found a series of recycling bins where I sometimes walk so I have adopted a home recycling plan.
