Last night during my Life Group-small group bible study- via Zoom, at the end I asked for prayer requests. One of the men said- “Pray for me for when I have to go out in public wearing pantyhose.
We all laughed. We knew our friend would not wear pantyhose. What he was actually talking about are compression socks that he needs to wear because he just had knee replacement surgery.
One thing I love about my Life Group is how fun they are. A few weeks ago it was the request to stay upright when one member went line dancing. Last night it was because he has to wear medical compression stockings which in is his mind are pantyhose.
It is good to laugh with friends. Our Life Group is often filled with laughter. Laughter is a gift from God as we see in Psalms 126:
Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Laughter is good for the soul, reduces stress, and makes life more enjoyable.
