Book Cover For My Upcoming Book

It still does not feel real, but it is about the become very real. I met with my friend Ellen from church. She is very talented at graphic design. After reading a draft of my upcoming book Jesus Understands Trauma, she designed the book cover for me.

We will meet next Friday and hopefully publish it and my other book Lifted Out Of The Pit/Called To The Nations.

My hope and prayer is for Jesus to work through my books to free people up and to draw people to him. As I shared yesterday in my post, Two Friends As Teens/Two Different Paths In Life, by God’s grace my life has meaning and purpose. That is more fully developed in my other upcoming book Lifted Out Of The Pit/Called To The Nations.

I am so thankful for those who have prayed for me in this process. I am also thankful for input from my pastor and from my therapist.

What do you think of the cover?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. Dad I love the cover. I just don’t understand those hands. Does it mean one hand is for Jesus and the other is for the victim of trauma?? Otherwise I am extremely excited to read this book. You were born for such a time as this.

  2. How exciting, Matt! I like the design of the cover, but not so sure about the colour of the arms and hands – my first thought was that the larger hand reaching up looks like a corpse, which confuses me.

      1. Hey the weekend was good! Soccer games and some 4H stuff on Saturday! And church and family time with my husband’s aunt on Sunday! How about your weekend?

      1. I plan to donate $1 from each book sold to a different ministry/charity each month. I will share the one for May in the same post I share the links. At the end of each month, I will share the donation receipt in a post so people know I followed through
