I am back after an unplanned blogging break. No reason for it just took a week off after years of most every day.

As I write, I am sitting in a room at my church with three brothers in Jesus from Ukraine. They are planning for the new Ukrainian church. It is exciting to watch as Jesus raises up another new church and to be a part of it. They are speaking Ukrainian, so I am blogging and will join in later to pray with them.

On Sunday, it was a blessing to witness Jesus connecting the dots for a 15 year old girl from Brazil. I went to a birthday party for a 2 year old son of two friends from Brazil who have been coming to my Sunday morning group this past year. I met the 15 year old girl, her father and mother and younger sister at the party. We arranged for me to help them with English on Saturday mornings.

When I mentioned my Sunday morning group, her father told me she likes to sleep late on Sundays. Then I felt prompted to ask her if she knew a teacher at her Middle School who comes to my church. She smiled and told me that teacher is one of her favorites. It just so happened the teacher sang What A Beautiful Name in our worship service this past Sunday. I showed her the video of her teacher singing, so she decided she wants to come on Sunday mornings too.

My classes at the college are on break for a few weeks, so my regular blogging schedule will be altered for a few weeks. However, I plan to catch up in the next few days with other bloggers posts.

This was just a brief catch up with me post.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. It’s nice to hear what you’re up to. It’s amazing how you keep continuing to bring more people to church and to assist in setting up new ones. I’ve been thinking about how to serve more recently. I’m considering joining the youth team who works with teenagers. Good on you for taking a break, you’re one of the most consistent bloggers I follow so you definitely deserved it.
