There was no room for Joseph and Mary when they came to Bethlehem, so Jesus was born in a stable where the animals were. The Savior of the world, God’s only Son, was born in the most humble of circumstances. No one made room for him except an inn keeper who let them stay in the stable. A setting that was not worthy of the creator of the universe who left heaven to come to earth as a baby.
So the questions is whether there is room in our hearts for Jesus now. Will we make room for him in our lives. He wants relationship with us. He wants us to be with him forever. He paid the price for us on the cross. Will we accept his invitation to come to him.
