It is 4am and what are you doing? For your sakes, I hope you are sleeping. What was I doing? Good question. I am glad you asked.

I woke up at 4am this morning and it was time to write. My first draft of my upcoming book Encounters with the Ancients is now finished. The next step is to review and edit it. Then it will be time to upload to Amazon, which could happen this week.

Now it is 6:05 am and I am writing this blog post and feel relief that my morning class is on break, so back to sleep for me shortly.

Ahh break time. Three and a half weeks of no alarm clock, hanging out in coffee shops, and of course sharing time with immigrant/refugee friends.

My three favorite locations during break from teaching are; coffee shops, homes of immigrant/refugee friends, and of course my bed. 🙂

It is hard to believe Christmas is almost here. I am looking forward to Christmas Eve Service at my church and Christmas Day Service at the Ukrainian Church. I don’t care for the holiday trappings of it all, but love to focus on Jesus coming as a human infant, so he could become our Savior.

Back to bed for me. It is break time after all. What are your plans for today?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
