Just an update post. First of all, thank you to all who prayed for my surgery. It went well. I am home and recovering. Have some pills for pain management so perhaps I will have a typo or two in this post.
When I arrived and was in the prep area, I began to have second thoughts but they had already placed my clothes in a bag and taken them to the room I stayed in, so if I attempted an escape, I would have only been wearing a hospital gown.
After surgery, I had no feeling in my lower body from the spinal they used, I was also already taking the pain meds. The anesthesia had not completely worn off, so I was in a good mood.
The nurses were wonderful, the hospital over all was too.
Today I start outpatient physical therapy. I had one session at the hospital yesterday. He showed me how to use stairs while i am recovering.
Friends from El Salvador and Ukraine visited me in the hospital as did some church friends. “““`
So I am home and recovering. I can’t think much more lol.
