At the college, we have a Keurig machine. That is where I go to see my friend Joe as in a cup of Joe. 🙂
This morning, I gave my students an in class reading assignment and then said, I need to go get my medicine. One of them smiled and said, “Your coffee.” She was spot on.

It was another example of students paying attention to teachers even when the teacher does not think they are.
In John 1:35 to 39 we read about a few guys who paid attention to what their teacher John the Baptist said:
The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!”
When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?”
They said, “Rabbi” (which means “Teacher”), “where are you staying?”
“Come,” he replied, “and you will see.”
Because of what John the Baptist said about Jesus, the two left John and started to follow Jesus.
My desire is that people will decide to follow Jesus because of things I have said or done or how I treated them. People watch when they find out we are Christians to see how we will react, how we treat them, and how we live.
I am still at the college, and I think it is time for another visit to my friend the Keurig machine.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
