I watched the new music video of Lauren Daigle’s song Then I Will. It is from the movie Bonhoeffer the pastor who spoke out against the Nazis and ended up paying for it with his life.

Speaking out against evil takes courage and for Christians, reliance on God. I wonder what I would do in a similar circumstance. We do not face anything like what Bonhoeffer faced, at least not yet.

But there are moments that call for someone speaking out, defending someone being bullied, defending the helpless, etc. God tells us to be strong and take courage because he goes before us.

I plan to go see Bonhoeffer in the theater next week.
