The Friday Before Thanksgiving Week

The Friday before Thanksgiving week, and it hit me already that desire to stay home and relax and start the break early. Every time a break is coming, mentally there is a need to resist the urge to give in to that desire. 🙂 But there are things to look forward to on this Friday…

The Friday before Thanksgiving week, and it hit me already that desire to stay home and relax and start the break early. Every time a break is coming, mentally there is a need to resist the urge to give in to that desire. 🙂

But there are things to look forward to on this Friday before Thanksgiving week. There is a class to teach this morning. There is lunch with my friend Alekseyi. There is a coffee shop meeting this afternoon.

So worship music is playing, prayer has happened, my first cup of coffee has been partaken of, and I have asked Jesus to help me be a blessing for my students and those I encounter today. Next week will come soon enough bringing my short work week.

So press on to the day I will. 🙂

But first, a second cup perhaps. 🙂

    I make my agenda but my steps go in a different direction. That’s ok because I gave my agenda to the Lord to work it out his way.
