This morning in church, one of my favorite songs was performed by a young woman to lead us. It is a song that has meant alot to me over the years and especially this past year going through two surgeries and weeks and weeks of physical therapy.

The song is It Is Well by Kristene DiMarco. I first came upon it in 2017 as I was going through the pinball machine of doctors trying to get a diagnosis. As we sang it this morning, I sat and listened thanking God for getting me through the year and prayed for strength to keep going.

It was a year I do not feel like repeating and a year I do not feel like sharing some kind of retrospective other than by God’s grace my ministry continued and my teaching continued thanks to help from God’s people.

It does amaze me how Jesus carried me through and continued to give me opportunties to be a blessing even though I needed rides, needed to use a walker, then a cane, needed help with things like shopping etc.

As you look back over the year, what thoughts come to your mind?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
