Waking up earlier that normal due to falling asleep early makes for an unusual start to the day for me. But in the still quiet hour, spending time with Jesus, ideas come to me.

After listening to CeCe Winans song Come Jesus Come, once again I pray expressing my desire for Jesus to return, but then 2 Peter 3:9 comes to mind.

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

So then my prayer turns to asking for strength to be a blessing and for Jesus to work through me for others to know him. So I prayed about being a blessing at my home church First Free Lincoln this morning and at New Breath this afternoon. Then prayed for my blog and my new YouTube channel chatwithjesusluvsall.

Then there are my classes to teach this week. My two Zoom classes and my in person class at the college begin this week. Yes, Christmas break is completely over now. Who will I meet? What opportunities await for sharing the love of Jesus?

Though my bed is calling to me, my coffee cup already has, so no return to sleep, will get ready for my day.
