Experience a hurricane in the Midwest? No way right? We had a thunderstorm roar through my city between 4am and 5:30am. The wind gusts were up to 91 miles per hour. That is hurricane category 1 wind speed.

Going to New Breath Church to teach my English class, I saw a lot of tree branches in the street, siding blown off houses, and other damage.
The storm woke me up about 4am and I was not able to go back to sleep. Hello my old friend coffee. One of the questions I asked during conversation time was what time did you get up. All of my students said 4 or 4:30 because of the storm. We had our class and enjoyed or time together.
While the storm was roaring through my city, I wondered if that was like the storm that overtook Jesus and the disciples with Jesus sleeping in the boat. The disciples out of fear woke Jesus up and with three words Jesus calmed the storm.

I may not be able to calm a storm like Jesus did, but I can take a nap like he did in the boat. After sleeping only four hours and teaching my class, I need one.
Thank you for reading. God bless.
