It is wonderful to see other people grow and develop in their abilities. It has been my blessing to mentor others to become teachers. I love seeing how my former students progress with their lives in America.

One source of personal joy for me is knowing that out of a group of young people from Vietnam that I helped with English, prepare for college, and apply for scholarships. they have become successful. One is now an Architect, one is in Medical School, one has he MBA and CPA and has a good career, five are in or just finished Pharmacy school, others got degrees in nursing. computer science, and engineering.

I also enjoy encouraging other bloggers especially new bloggers. One new blogger is Garden Faith at gardenfaith.com. The recent post was Poured Out Romans 5:5. I enjoy how the posts include pictures of flowers and weaves the flower into posts about faith. 🙂
As a Christian who blogs, I try to remember 1 Corinthians 12:
“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it”.
So if another blogger experiences growth in their blog and is honored, it is something for me to rejoice over just as I rejoice when my former students experience greater success in life than I have. 🙂
By rejoicing with and for others, we can avoid that ugly thing called envy. By blogging about what the Lord puts on my heart, I will reach those I am supposed to reach with the post.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
