Grateful for the Success of Others-Spotlight on a New Blogger

It is wonderful to see other people grow and develop in their abilities. It has been my blessing to mentor others to become teachers. I love seeing how my former students progress with their lives in America.

One source of personal joy for me is knowing that out of a group of young people from Vietnam that I helped with English, prepare for college, and apply for scholarships. they have become successful. One is now an Architect, one is in Medical School, one has he MBA and CPA and has a good career, five are in or just finished Pharmacy school, others got degrees in nursing. computer science, and engineering.

I also enjoy encouraging other bloggers especially new bloggers. One new blogger is Garden Faith at gardenfaith.com. The recent post was Poured Out Romans 5:5. I enjoy how the posts include pictures of flowers and weaves the flower into posts about faith. 🙂

As a Christian who blogs, I try to remember 1 Corinthians 12:

“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it”.

So if another blogger experiences growth in their blog and is honored, it is something for me to rejoice over just as I rejoice when my former students experience greater success in life than I have. 🙂

By rejoicing with and for others, we can avoid that ugly thing called envy. By blogging about what the Lord puts on my heart, I will reach those I am supposed to reach with the post.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. So true. Nothing more should give one joy than the ability to impact others positively. The believer ought to live a sacrificial life.

Thank you sir for your labour of love.

  3. You exemplify the gospel of 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIRV)
“11 So encourage one another with the hope you have. Build each other up. In fact, that’s what you are doing.” Yes, in fact that is what you are doing. Thanks, and blessings – Garden Faith

  5. Thanks big brother! I ask God to help me to always rejoice with those who rejoice! It’s such a feeling of freedom when envy has no place in our hearts. Great writing. 😊

  6. I love your heart, big brother. We should rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. There is no room for envy, strife, discontentment because the Lord has all gifted us with unique abilities. Our job is to surrender to the Lord and watch Him stir our gifts while helping others to discover theirs. We must love on others with sincerity as we reflect the love of our Master. It’s great seeing how through God you have aided so many achieve their dreams along the way. You have displayed such selflessness that I’m sure our Father is pleased. May the Lord continue pour out abundantly His favor on your life. May He continue to bless you richly. May your eyes continue to bask in the joy helping others bring and be in tune with the rewards awaiting you over yonder. 🤗
