Have Gray Hair?

I might be at a certain age that one receives discounts just for being of a certain age. I welcome it when it saves me money, but it is better to request it than for another person to assume I am of a certain age and give me the discount automatically. 🙂

Even though I think of myself as being prematurely gray, it is comforting to know that there is a promise for people who are a bit older. Isaiah 46:4 in the bible says:

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Good to know God is looking out for people who are older. God looks out for us at every phase in life. His eye is ever on us watching out for us.

Jesus blessed children who were brought to him. He healed children even bringing a little girl back from death. Jesus healed people of all ages. Whatever age we are, we can look to Jesus for help in times of trouble.

So give me the discounts just don’t call me old. 🙂

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. I stopped by a Culvers on my last trip to Wisconsin. A young teen loudly proclaimed a senior discount while ringing me up. I asked her how she knew I was old enough to get that discount…”Well dud, you’re a lot older than me” was her reply. My reply “well maybe I have that disease that makes young people look old”…Her reply “Oh my, I never thought of that!…but you don’t do you!!” Sigh

  2. One thing I like to remember is that life is precious no matter the age. Moses at age 120 had excellent eyesight and the strength of a young man. He was called home to Heaven and was not aged. He did spend daily time in the presence of God that preserved him.

  3. I’ve been turning gray since my mid twenties!! Colored it for about ten years and have now let it go over the past 3 years..less maintenance!! And I feel a bit wiser now too!!😂
