Hard to believe it has been five months since my first surgery on my knee. That means five months of sleeping in a recliner, not driving, and all of the other incoveniences that come with it. But some signs of progress are occurring.

My knee is starting to look more like a knee not a swollen blob. I can walk better. Best of all, my physical therapy is now twice a week not three times a week.

I am so thankful that through it all these past five months, Jesus has continued to bless me with opportunities to share him and his love with others. He has blessed me with meeting new people to share about him with.

I am also thankful for the help friends have given me. It is a great blessing to be part of God’s family. I have been given numerous rides, help doing the dreaded deed of shopping, and been given help financially.

So even though it has been an ordeal, there is so much to be thankful for.

What are you thankful for today?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
